Hopping in 3D printing
The Nautil Chair is part of our continued research into the various scales of 3D printing production. This research aims to tackle the current barrier of LFAM to stop and restart its flow, which greatly effects the forms that one is able to produce. Looking into what in the industry is called “hopping”, we consider the shape of the design, material properties, and production parameters in order to produce the highest quality product.
